The intial press release implied that you could just plug in and use the Drifta. This led to the hope that the software would be preloaded onto the USB device and could install from there. This is not the case. The USB Drifta retail pack includes an install CD. This software must be installed first and then the Drifta can be plugged in and used. (Confirmed through the USB Drifta Quick start user guide.)
