Which Android devices are supported?

Currently the application works on the following devices, running Android 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3 using standard App:

  • Sony Ericsson Play (R800i)
  • LG Optimus Black (LG P970)
  • Motorola Defy (MB 525)
  • Motorola Defy + (MB 526)
  • HTC ChaCha
  • HTC Desire / Desire S /Desire HD
  • HTC Wildfire S
  • Samsung Galaxy S (GT-I9000)
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 7″ (GT-P1000, GT-P1010, GT-P1013, SPH-100, GT-P1000T, SHW-M180L, SHW-M180K, SHW-M180S, SMT-i9000, SGH-T849, SCH-I800, GT-P1000R, GT-P1000L, GT-P1000M, SC-01C, GT-P1000N)
  • Samsung Galaxy S II (GT-I9100)
  • Samsung Galaxy Note (GT-N7000)
The following additional devices are now enabled on Android 2.2 (Froyo) and 2.3 (Gingerbread) through the beta application (here):

That’s it for now. Dont forget, check the FAQ if you need to run on a rooted device (OTA Rootkeeper).

What we do know :

  • Phones and Tablets will be supported
  • Specific white listed devices only, the ones listed above, more supported over time
  • No Honeycomb or Ice-cream Sandwich for now
  • Not all Android devices meet the minimum specifications required
  • Rooted devices will NOT be “officially” supported just as jailbroken iDevices are not
    • If you have a supported device but is is rooted, use OTA Rootkeeper in order to be able to use the official client on your rooted device without problem.
